Kristian P. Kraszewski, a LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated attorney, practices in the Securities Litigation Department of Gilman Law LLP’s Florida office. He has represented hundreds of investors and pension funds in various securities disputes before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the National Futures Association (NFA), and in state and federal court. Mr. Kraszewski has assisted clients recover losses in cases involving IPO’s, shareholder disputes, suitability, private placements, hedge funds, REITS, concentrated positions, structured products, mortgage backed securities, preferred stocks, churning, margin, annuities, exchange-traded funds (ETF’s), bond funds, options, FOREX, and commodities.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Kraszewski worked in the financial market for eight years and held the Series 7, 3, 63, and 65 licenses. During his practice in the financial sector, Mr. Kraszewski managed portfolios for clients and traded coffee, sugar, and cocoa futures and options for institutional clients as a member of the New York Board of Trade. He also traded gold and silver futures and options on behalf of hedge fund clients prior to law school.
While receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Siena College, Mr. Kraszewski was the captain and most valuable player on the men’s Division I soccer team. After graduating with honors, he attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree with honors in May 2007.
Mr. Kraszewski has received multiple honors and awards from his peers in the legal field, including recognition as a Florida SuperLawyer Rising Star for securities litigation; an Up and Comer among Florida’s Legal Elite; and acknowledgement from the American Registry as one of America’s Most Honored Professionals and an Outstanding Florida attorney.
Kristian Kraszewski is admitted to practice in the Northern District of Florida’s District Court, as well as the Northern District of Florida’s Bankruptcy Court. He is an active member of PIABA, the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association and the American Bar Association (ABA).
